day 4
my first experience eating out with my new dietary limitations.
breakfast at crepevine in palo alto:

house potatoes grilled with olive oil, garlic and rosemary
side of whole wheat toast sans butter (avec strawberry jam)
snack: overnight oats & chia pudding
lunch:
my leftover soba noodles
snacks: almonds, cashews, 1 cup raw carrots
before our road trip started, i knew there was a possibility that i wouldn't get my 8-10 servings of fruit and vegetables. so i whipped myself up a quick smoothie with the following ingredients:
2 cups spinach
1 cup blue & blackberries
1/2 cup strawberries
1 t chia seeds
1 T agave
1 cup water
healthy road trip snacks:

plus a pixie tangerine & brazil nut
dinner:

it's called a wish burger at in-n-out. basically it's like the grilled cheese sandwich i usually get without the cheese, no sauce but substituted with ketchup and mustard. not bad. and i only had 3 of ryan's fries!!!
i didn't get a chance to exercise today but think i did quite well seeing that two of my meals weren't home cooked and we spent a third of our day in a car.
